| "We were very clear that our wedding will be a very private affair, where all of us could feel comfortable. So ours was actually a secret wedding. My parents and family live in Palakkad, and our wedding venue was Kandath Tharavadu, a 200 year old heritage resort. It's a fairly inaccessible venue, and we also hired a lot of security personnel to ensure the wedding was an intimate affair. A few press people got to know about the wedding and landed up at the wedding venue, so my mother-in-law requested them to respect our wishes, and attend the reception in Kochi instead.rnrnThe reception was held on the lawns of Le Meridien, Kochi and was managed by Impressario, a Kochi-based Event Management company. Over 5,000 friends, acquaintances and media people attended the evening. |
